Watch the YouTube video outlining the history of the videogames industry from the 1970s to the 2010s. Now answer the following questions:
1) What were the first videogames like?
The first games were different as the quality from our games had a huge difference and the games were more 2d games cause they just found about making games.
2) How have videogames changed over time?
The game quality had gotten even better every year and the smoothness of every game had gotten better overtime.
3) What do the most successful games have in common? Answer this in as much detail as you can. Think about audience pleasures - what do people like about playing videogames?
They all started as 2d games and slowly turned into 3d games like Mario ,car racing,gta,soic and pokemon.
People might like that that are things that they can do in the game world instead of the real world.
4) What criticisms have been made towards videogames?

1) At the time of the article, how many Fortnite players were there worldwide? (Bonus question - how many are there now? Try Googling it.)
There were more than 200million people worldwide and now there are 3-4million people playing it.
2) Why is it so popular? What are the audience pleasures of the game?
It was a game where you were just having fun with the power of violence and no series with this shooting game.
3) Why might some people criticise Fortnite?
People might criticise fortnite because each time they update the game it would only keep getting worse than before.

Fortnite before was build to people to have fun but now people changed and all they think about is is winning.
